Default Blank Screen - Dell Venue 8 Pro and Windows 8.1

Hello,

I recently bought a iTec-HDMI Trio Adapter for my new little toy (Dell Venue 8 Pro and Windows 8.1) to make IT a real PC.

Installed DL Driver 7.5M0 FIRST, then plugged the device, Taskbar Icon pops up, klicked "Expand", Monitor LED went from blinking to steady light, bute screnn stays blank (black). Tried everything, no success.

Same behaviour on my Laptop (HP Elitebook 8440p) with Windows 8.1.

Both systems fullly patched and latest manufacturers firmware, freshly installed OS.

Read a lot here, many people seem to have same problem.

Any suggestions ? Send the adapter back to amazon ?

Regards,

Chris

Default What I also did (several times)

1. Disconnect dock
2. Uninstall DisplayLink software
3. Run this tool http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=297
4. Re-install 7.5 M0
5. Connect dock with monitor attached.
