What is the maximum number of screens I can attach to a Mac Mini with the M4 Pro processor?
Apple says the answer is 3 screens. But with my older Mac Mini (2018 Core i7) I had always been able to take the maximum Apple said (3) and add to it another 3 via DisplayLink to make 6 screens. In things I have read online it sort of implied I could use 3 connected directly to the M4 Pro with Thunderbolt cables or I could have 3 Displaylink, but not both. Is that right? Or can you break Apple’s 3-screen limit with one or more of your docks? Some of your pictures on your website show a setup with 9 screens, but my current Mac seems stuck at no more than 6 screens (although it did do 7 when I first set it up, then dropped down to 6 after an update). If I buy the correct equipment, can I get more than 6 screens? Or more than 9? Is there a limit? And what kit do I need to buy to get high numbers of screens? |

You should be able to use 7 of them( 4 using our technology and 3 external ones plugged directly into the Mac)

Having tested, I can confirm 7 is the correct limit. 3 directly to the Mac and 4 via Displaylink.
FYI: I got 7 to work on a Mac Mini 2018 as well. Thank you for your help. |
