Problems with AOC e1659fwu and Surface Pro 3
Hi,
My external monitor (AOC) is turning on and off and seemingly random times. Log files attached. Using a Surface Pro 3, Windows 8.1. Tried using a powered USB hub, but still has the same problem. Thank you for your help! |

Was handled through support ticket also created.
Root cause: the AOC USB monitor needed more power to drive the display and backlight. Solution: connect the second USB plug (Y-cable) of the AOC monitor to the Surface power adapter through a USB extension lead.
