Default 2 Monitors over USB2.0

Hello all,

I'm a bit confused and hope you can help me out.

At this moment I own a HP-Laptop DV8-1180ED which only has USB2.0 ports. It has a resolution of 1920x1080 in Full HD.

I want to attach two monitors both running 1920x1080 (one via DP and one via HDMI) to an HP 3005PR and keep my laptop-lid closed. Is this possible or should I be looking at a different Port Replicator?

Is my USB2.0 port able to deal with this?

Mainly use is for work (Outlook, Excel, browsing and so on).

Thanks for your answer!

Regards,
Sjoerd

it is possible but try to avoid using a hub if you can. try and out them on separate dedicated usb ports.
