My displaylink works fine when I install or restart my machine, but doesn't work if I unplug my USB and plug it back in.

Exact thing happened to me - my external monitor was working great, I undocked my laptop and re-booted and now the monitor will not work. I've tried uninstalling V2.0 re-installing, and repairing permissions and still no joy. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yep - seems to be the same problem here. I just bought my display link device early this week. I have one monitor connected via thunderbolt and one connected via display link.
Everything was working great since Wednesday. Today I took my MBP out for a meeting, brought it back home, now my monitor is black. |
