Apple 23 Cinema HD Display vertical position offset
I have just purchased an USB 2.0 Display adaptor in order to extend the display on a 23" Apple Cinema Display HD (Aluminium version), from long time ago. However, after installing the latest driver for mac (V 2.0), the image of the extended display seems shifted upward.
I am currently using Macbook air 4.2 (2011 mid), running mountain lion 10.8.4 and a extended display (24 LED Cinema display via thunderbolt port) I want to hook up one more display thru the USB port for more display area. Please see the attached photo for the illustration. I am new to the forum and hope someone can share their thoughts if you also encountered the same problem. |

Tried the driver beta 2.1 still have the same video offset problem.
Tried under 10.9 DP 8 Macbook Pro 2009 Mid Apple Cinema Display 23" I think it is a mismatch in displaying the correct resolution. Last edited by chanyikchung@gmail.com; 10-06-2013 at 04:44 AM. |

23" Cinema Display issues
I have the C2G model# 30546 DVI to USB adapter with the DisplayLink 2.1 driver running Mavericks and using a 23" Cinema HD Display. I get not image on the monitor but 3 short flashes in the power light (Apple code for "The display is detecting wrong video format or an unsupported resolution.").
The adapter works with a 17" Samsung monitor that I tested with. I get 1920x1200 in my display preferences but apparently the connection is not being made. ANY SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED. Thank you. |

I'm getting a similar issue. It shows the whole desktop but doesn't fill the whole monitor. The bottom part that is messed up just displays the top part of the desktop again...
Did that make any sense? |
