Default Max Resolution on Dell D3100 on HDMI

I'm using the Dell D3100 Ultra HD 4K dock, and attempting to use the display port with an HDMI adapter to connect my ultra hd 4k television. The highest resolution available is 2048 x 1152. The same when connecting direct to the hdmi port. How can I force a higher resolution at a lower refresh rate?

As an Fyi, I a able to achieve full 4k resolution using a usb type c to hdmi adapter, but want to consolidate to one connection and take some of the "workload" off my pc by using the graphics card in the external docking station.

Hello Sean,

On this product from Dell, they only support 4Kp30 on the DisplayPort output.
The HDMI outputs on the Dell D3100 cannot drive 4K.

Kind regards,
Alban
