Default M168B+ works w/OSx 10.11, not Win 7-64

Hey everyone,

I'm scratching my head like a number of other users with an Asus M168B+ that connects and disconnects constantly.

The real confusion for me is that I am using a MacBook Pro (Late 2012) as my road computer. Boot into OSx 10.11 (and 10.10 when I received the monitor) and everything works as expected after driver installation.

Simply restarting the computer with Boot Camp into Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and the monitor doesn't work. It appears to be a power issue with the USB port. I've updated all the drivers as noted in other threads. I installed Asus' AI Charger App to increase power to the USB ports. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with no change.

One conflict I haven't explored is if Duet Display (iPad into touchscreen monitor app) is causing a conflict. I'll try and uninstall that software and see if that changes anything.

Support Files attached.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Truly,

Rob Smith

Hi,

Were you able to see if the app you mentioned was causing this to happen?

Thanks,
James
