Default Resolution not listed for HP Compaq LA2306X monitor

Hi All,

I am having an issue with an HP Compaq LA2306X monitor.
It is connected via Display Link ( Toshiba Dynadock ).

However i am not able to select the correct resolution. which is 1920x1080 @60hz.
It keeps saying that the recommended resolution is 1680x1050 which was the resolution of my previous Samsung monitor.

I already tried adding the resolution to the registry as described here

I am not sure if I am using the correct monitor_type since the registry tweak does not work. This is my .edid filename:

HP LA2306_HWP294A-CNC231PTM7.edid

Does anyone know what the correct model_type is for my monitor or does anyone have any other suggestions?

I attached the diagnostics output with this post.

Hello,

Your product is unable to achieve 1080p. That's why the resolution is not offered and the maximum resolution supported by both your monitor and the Toshiba adapter is offered.

Kind regards,
Alban
