Hi,
What device do you have connected? Not all device support all resolutions - see this FAQ for more details: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=329 Thanks, James |

The device is a Fujitsu USB 3.0-PORT REPLICATOR PR08 USB 3.0 Port Replicator (S26391-F6007-L400). Not sure which ASIC family is in there, the spec promised 2560 x 1440. It works with origin 7.5 driver and the 7.6 M2, but both are not as stable as it probably should. The screen revert from time to time for a second or two to a black screen and comes back after a moment. As long as it happens every 30 minutes, one can live with this, on some days – no clue why – it occurs every 2 minutes. Reducing down to 2048 x 1152 it becomes stable, but looks strange on a 27” monitor. So I hope 7.7 may fix it

Hi,
As soon as the issue is seen please attach the output of this tool: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269 Once downloaded, please run it and select "Gather Support Information" When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below. From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool which will be in a folder called "DisplayLink Support Files" on your desktop. Thanks, James |

Hi James,
Some additional findings: a) Asus / Intel VGA driver updates are limited by Asus – the system denied to update it with pure Intel driver b) Google browser with hardware acceleration causes the black screen issue faster. /harald |

Hi,
Can you try manually installing the latest graphics driver? See this page for details on how to do this: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033915.htm Thanks James |

Well, Asus and Intel seems to be a specific friendship. After uninstalling ASUS live update and uninstalling the existing Intel VGA driver for HD4000 and then installing via system manager the latest driver - it works, but the result of the 7.6 M2 is the same (black screens) and the display resolution for the 7.7 beta is lower. I’ve attached again the latest support files.

Hi,
This looks like a hardware issue with your dock. Recommend returning it to your vendor for a replacement. Thanks, James |
