Hi All,

Quick update. We (think we) have found out where everything breaks. It's a pretty fundamental change, probably linked to the eGPU hot plug functionality.

Now we "just" have to find a way to overcome the issue. How hard can it be!

Regards,
Carlo

Thanks Carlo! We are all cheering for you!

Thank you for the update, Carlo. It's much nicer to see an update every little bit even if a solution hasn't been found, just for the comfort of knowing you guys are working on it.

Thanks again, and good luck to you and your team!

Default Works now

I also had my DisplayLink stop working with the last 10.13.4 Beta, which was a bit of an annoyance, but I was pleased to find that I wasn't the only one.

I'm happy to report that with the latest 10.13.4 Beta (17E150g) update the problem seems to be resolved. It came out in the last 12 hours.

I'm using a USB-DVI on an older Mac mini, and I'm very pleased to have back the use of the second monitor.

This update didn't solve my issue unfortunately. Anyone else have any success with the latest beta?

No luck. Problem is exactly the same. Tried all the troubleshooting too just to be sure including unistall / reinstall. Glad to get the above update from Carlo.

Default Redraw jittery, sluggish

MacBook Pro (pre-TouchBar) - 10.13.4 Developer Beta

Driver causes main display to be extremely sluggish and jittery.

De-installing driver corrects the issue.

Am without 3rd monitor for the moment.

I found something that MIGHT be of importance.

I have a 13" mbp, with a SyncMaster 24" display attached to the miniDP port, and the other attached to a USB3->DVI DisplayLink adapter. I have the lemon screen issue on the 3rd monitor. Interestingly enough, MacOS *SEES* the 3rd monitor correctly, but thinks it's ALSO attached to the onboard video instead of the DisplayLink. Before, it showed the DisplayLink adapter as a separate video device with the monitor attached, now it shows this:

Thanks.
