Default DisplayPort and HDMI issues with 2018 Macbook Pro

Hi,

I have a 2018 Macbook pro and use the dock Dell D6000. I have the latest version of macOS (10.14.2) and the latest version of DisplayLink (5.0.1).

I have two monitors, one being ultrawide and needing the 2560x1080 resolution. When I plug the monitor in the dock's HDMI input, the image flickers. When I use an HDMI-Displayport adapter, the max resolution is 1080p for both monitors plugged into DisplayPort. DisplayPort should be able to handle resolutions up to 3,840×2,160.

The issue isn't the HDMI cable, since I can use a HDMI-USBC converter straight in the Macbook and get the native 2560x1080 resolution without flicker.

In the end I want to either use the monitor in the HDMI port without flicker or in DisplayPort with the full resolution. I have attached the monitor's EDID file.

I really appreciate any help.
