Default DisplayLink Windows 10

I have two indenticle displayLink adapters on my PC which worked fine on XP and windows 8 however have a problem with Windows 10. One works the other does not.

If I go to Device Manager one is displayed as 'WS Tech USB DVI' and is working fine 'This device is working properly'

The other is displayed as 'USB Display Adapter' with the same message 'This device is working properly' but it is not firing up the monitor and the adapters device light is not on.

In Device Manager Properties' When checking the 'Drivers' both devices have the same drivers listed the same description in 'General' 'Drivers' and 'Details'. For some reason in 'Events for the Adapter that is not working it shows 'Device started then Device Deleted however the rest of the information is the same as the Adapter that is working.

I have loaded the latest DisplayLink software and Windows 10 is also updated. I have also tried using the Adapter via a USM hub rather than directly plugged into the PC still no luck.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

Can you follow these steps to clean your system of DisplayLink software and then install the latest available?
