Chromebook compatibility
Hi all,
I have a new chromebook and was very happy to see native support. Connecting the dock (Targus 110 dock) gets recognised and USB and audio works through it fine however I cannot get displays to work. I've tried VGA and HDMI. Any ideas what is going wrong? Asus Chromebook C302 running Chrome OS Version 74.0.3729.159 (Official Build) (64-bit) thanks... PS it says not to use this group for problem reports but there is a sub forum for chrome! |

Hello Deedub,
Would you have the monitor details, please? I have escalated this to the development team for advice. Kind regards, Alban Ref 30125

Surely the monitor is not relevant, that's the point of DisplayLink. Anyway I have tried the following: - Dell P2210 - Samsung HD TV (not sure the model) I would like to be able to use the displaylink capability with confidence regardless of external screen device as this may not be know ahead of needing it (due to travel, new places, etc,) |

I tried to upload the logs but I keep getting a 'security token missing' message - whatever file format I try... (26Mb zip file should be fine right) Dave |

Hi Deedub!
The size of the logs might be the issue. Can you upload them to cloud storage e.g. Google drive and sharing the link to download? regards Lukasz |

BTW,
I don't see in logs any appearance of DisplayLink USB device. Did you gathered logs with unplugged DisplayLink device? regards Lukasz |
