Second monitor not recognized with Lion 10.7.5

Hello all,

I just got a M01063 DisplayLink adapter and am trying to connect a second Samsung monitor to my Macbook Air (using Thunderbolt for other monitor) running Lion 10.7.5.

I have tried numerous drivers, from the newest to 1.8 to 1.7, including all the beta drivers for 1.7, but have had no success.

It's as if the monitor is not connected - pressing "Detect Displays" does nothing and I get no notifications or any feedback at all when plugging in the USB adapter.

I've attached my logs from the debugging tool to provide more information.
