Default Display Not Detected

I can see the driver installed in Extensions. Nothing detected on second display.

OS 10.7.5 and 2.0 Driver...

(Can't upgrade to 10.8 due to support at work).

I'll attach the info from the debug tool to see if any clues as to what is not working.

Thanks for help in advance.

I also downgraded my driver to 1.8 (verified the version after install and reboot) in System Extensions. However still no display detected.

Thanks

Exact same behaviour here.
MacOS 10.7.5 that I can't update (work supported system) on a macbook pro 13"
Driver 2.0 installed, adapter recognized in system profile. External screen works fine using mini-display port.

Any help appreciated!

Hi

The logs do not show the device connected to the USB bus so there is nothing for our software to talk to. Was the device connected when the logs were taken? If it was, was it getting enough power from the USB bus?

It turns out that in my case I had a faulty adapter, and was hitting the PID 8060 issue described at http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=324 (except in my case it never worked, it was faulty from the start, which led me to believe I was doing something wrong)
Got a new one this morning, worked straight out of the box (I had already installed the mac drivers)

Thanks for the hint.

1) I didn't notice the green idiot light ont he device. It would be good to add this to the troubleshooting section of your knowledge base.
2) The second monitor with the Display Adapter device was plugged into the USB of my first monitor. There was insufficient power from there to turn the display adapter ON. Plugging directly into my Mac Air's USB port powerd it right up and boom it displays!

Thanks
