Default Beta 3, Lion, 2 DisplayLink adapters, rearranges screens at reboot

I have two DisplayLink adapters connected to two external monitors, such that one external monitor is on the left, one is in the middle, and my laptop (2011 MacBook Air 11") is on the right.

I have arranged the screens accordingly in Display settings so that the mouse moves from each screen to the next correctly.

However when I reboot the laptop, I'd say 50% of the time the two external screens get swapped, such that I move the mouse to the left from the laptop screen on the right, and it appears on the monitor on the far left instead of the middle monitor.

I have the two DisplayLink adapters plugged into a powered USB hub. I guess they're not getting initialized in the same order at boot.

Is this a known issue, and are there any workarounds? I'm on Beta 3 drivers for Lion.

Many thanks by the way.

UPDATE: this is still an issue with the 1.7 beta 4 drivers.
