Default Macbook Pro 13" i7 Not Displaying Anything

Hello,

I am having some trouble getting the Lilliput 7" usb external display to work on a 2011 mbp 13" i7 running 10.6.7. I have uninstalled/reinstalled a couple times without any luck.

The software version I am using is 1.6b3 (the normal release didn't recognize the cpu in this computer as an intel processor). System Profiler > Extensions shows the DisplayLink driver as 1.6b3 (27768), Valid-Yes, Authentic-Yes, and Dependencies-Satisfied. In System Preferences > Display I am only seeing the standard built in monitor.

I plug in the monitor and I can see the blue led on the board responding to the power button (on the external display), so I know it is getting power. The display, however, remains completely black with no change at all.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

We'll need the debug logs to understand what is happening. Please use the tool in http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269
Then submit them through http://www.displaylink.com/support/ask_question.php

Cheers

I am having the same issue with a Plugable UGA-2K-A (DL-195) on my 13" 2011 Macbook Pro with the 2.3GHz i5 processor running Snow Leopard 10.6.7. I have tried it with 1.6 Beta 2, Beta 3, and Beta 4. I also was unable to install version 1.5, it said it didn't support the CPU. Here is a link to my diagnostic output: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23433742/Dis...nformation.zip. I am pretty sure it isn't a hardware issue, because I was able to get it to work with a Mac Mini also running 10.6.7.

My Lenovo M01061 model works in my 2011 MacBook Pro 13" Early-2011 Sandy Bridge i7.
