Default Bugs with Version 5.2 software under Win7 32bit

1st:
I have been playing Fallout 3 on my PC and when I installed a MIMO 710 the game started crashing when trying to load a saved game. This is a desktop system and I like to use the mimo for gadget display. Even if the mimo is empty (no gadgets) or unplugged the game will crash. Only if I uninstall the displaylink software will the game run as normal.
Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate
Nvidia gtx275 graphics with driver 195.62
2 22" monitors attached in windows multimonitor mode.
Core2 duo system with 3.2 gigs (4 actually)
Displaylink software version 5.2.22663

Interesting notes. My primary display is noted as 2 in the windows control panel. Mimo comes up as 3.
In the nvidia control panel, my primary is identified (when I select that function) as 1. Mimo not shown and secondary DVI monitor is shown as 3.

Update: With my displays setup with 1 as primary and 2 as secondary and mimo unattached the game still crashes. Only works with Displaylink software removed.

I am having the same problem, Fallout 3 will crash when the DisplayLink software is installed, and will run normally if it is uninstalled. Is there any way to disable displaylink when not using it for compatibility?

Can verify that I have this same issue; would like a fix as I really like having my music on this monitor, and if it crashes any time I launch a game it's rather useless.

Windows 7 x64/ 8gb ram/8800 GTS/latest displaylink/latest nvidia drivers. Crashes fallout 3 when trying to load a save without fail. Some other things occasionally crash too.

Two monitor setup right now, one 25" @ 1920x1080, one 15" or so @ 1280x1024; verified also in a three monitor setup with an additional 1920x1080. It does this unless the software is uninstalled, as the original poster stated.

This has been raised as a bug to try and reproduce.

It would be useful to know if this only happens with NVidia graphics cards.

PhoenixGeek: WHat graphics card and driver version are you using and I will add it to the bug.

Thanks

Tried with Windows Driver 5.2 M3 and also with Windows update driver on Windows 7 32bit but fallout 3 crash when have to charge the 3d engine. (The usb mimo monitor is NOT attached)

Disinstalling the Displaylink software and all works fine except that the usb monitor don't work (I need it to see videos when I work)
