I have a new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex running Windows 10 and 2 27" acer VG270 monitors. Yesterday I purchased the Wavlink WL-UG39DK1. I have one monitor hooked up via HDMI (monitor 2 working fine). The other using the VGA/DVI adapter (monitor 3). Monitor 3 is black receiving no signal.
Can anyone tell me why? I've already been through the regular Windows troubleshooting steps. I tried downloading drivers from the Wavlink site but couldn't find any support for Windows 10. Is that the reason? I'm generally a Mac user, but needed Windows for my home office, so not all that familar. Thanks in advance! |

Just wondering if anyone has any insight to this? I downloaded the Windows 10 driver as sent to my from Wavlink, but it didn't seem to help. I tested the monitor itself by swapping out the cords. I plugged the HDMI cord into the non-working monitor and it works fine. So the connection definitely has to do with the signal coming out of the Wavlink to the DVI/VGA adapter.
The monitor IS being recognized. Settings shows 3 monitors present. The monitor DOES recognize VGA IN. So why the black screen? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |
