Forgive me if this specific scenario has been reported in other threads, but using the new Windows 8 drivers (6.3M1), my Samsung Series 9 notebook connected to a Kensington Universal Docking Station with Video and Ethernet (sd400v; http://tinyurl.com/blcp7p4) refuses to "see" my external monitor (running RTM Windows 8). All the other ports (USB, etc) on the dock work fine, it's just the video using, of course, DisplayLink technology. This exact same configuration worked very reliably with Windows 7 previously.
I'm not even seeing "USB DISPLAY ADAPTERS" inside W8's DEVICE MANAGER. Any ideas ? |

This was already answered in http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1757. Unfortunately, this dock will not be compatible with our Windows 8 driver.
