Hi everyone,
After a recent Windows 10/11 update, I've noticed my DisplayLink setup (external monitor via USB) isn't working as smoothly as before—occasional flickering, lag, or even failure to detect the display. I’ve already tried reinstalling the latest DisplayLink drivers and checking USB power settings, but the issue persists. Is anyone else experiencing this after the latest update? Any known fixes or workarounds you’ve found helpful? Thanks in advance!

After installing KB5058411 I have the same massive high CPU usage of "Windows Driver Foundation" when using the screen connected via Displaylink / USB-toDVI adapter.
I have not found a solution yet, I have removed mouse and keyboard software that also used some CPU/USB and that has helped a little bit( but only possible because I didn't need the mouse/keyboard software running). |
