Hi,
Bought myself a Dell D6000 Docking Station, so I could drive my extra one of my screens. However, it does not to output 120fps when in extended mode, no matter if I have it set to 120Hz or 144Hz, but when I set it to mirroring, it does 120hz fine. Also in windows , it does 144hz no problem (with the d6000 displaylink) Is this a known issue? What can I do to fix it? For reference: I am using a Macbook Air M2, D6000, macOS sequoia, newest version Displaylink manager I know more than 60hz is not officially supported, but why does it work in mirrored mode or perfectly fine in windows? |

Hi Freeq,
D6000 output can drive up to 4K at 60Hz. Lower resolutions, 1080p can reach higher refresh rates, e.g. 144Hz or even 240Hz. Always best to check monitor OSD to verify what is actual physical mode of the display as modern macOS as well as Windows versions may setup different desktop mode. Regards, Szymon |
