Lightbulb Good news (maybe for some)

I've been experiencing this issue, it's been hugely frustrating.

After a bit of digging, I've narrowed my issue down to when my hard drive is getting near full.

I'm currently at 33GB available of 245GB which I've been stable with no crashing/dropping out of Displaylink manager for about two weeks now. I'm not sure if it starts bombing out at a percentage full or a particular number of.GB, but what I can tell you is that when I cleared out a load of space, it started working consistently.

From what I understand, the macOS starts being a bit more aggressive in closing apps that run in the background that are taking up memory, I assume that as the Mac uses swap space on the hard disk if the hard disk is nearing capacity it will be something to do with that.

For reference, I'm using macOS Sequoia version 15.6.1
DisplayLink Manager Version 13.0.0 build 33

I hope this helps someone
