Resolution Problem
I have an IOGear usb dvi displaylink adapter. I have tried 3 different versions of the driver and the highest resolution i can get is 1680x1050 and I would really like to get the resolution up to 1920x1080 like the monitor it is sitting next to (plugged in to DVI port on my HP docking station, exact same monitor HP LA2306x)
I can't figure out why its capping my res. at 1680x1050 even though the IOgear is supposed to support 1920x1080. Thanks Rob |

1920x1080 will be offered if the monitor reports this as a supported mode. Can you post the log files as described here:
http://kb.displaylink.com/269 This will tell us why its not supported. Wim |

I think you have an adapter based on the DL-160, not the DL-165. The maximum resolution of the DL-160 is 1680x1050, not 1920x1080. This is why the higher modes are not offered.
