MediaGear not seen on reboot on Mac M1 Studio Max
Have a brand new Apple M1 Studio, Max chip, 32GB RAM running Monterey 12.6.2, fresh OS install.
MediaGear 5K dual port dock. DisplayLink works, seemingly fine, but when I restart the machine the dock isn't detected until I power it off and back on. It's connected via USB-C in the rear of the Mac to port 3. ioreg output before and after power off & on (it's a diff): < +-o AppleT6000USBXHCI@01000000 <class AppleT6000USBXHCI, id 0x1000003b9, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2 ms), retain 39> --- > +-o AppleT6000USBXHCI@01000000 <class AppleT6000USBXHCI, id 0x1000003b9, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (327 ms), retain 169> > | +-o USB3.0 Hub@01200000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000e7f, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (266 ms), retain 33> > | | +-o USB3.1 Hub@01220000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000ea5, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (14 ms), retain 31> > | | +-o USB3.0 5K Graphic Docking@01210000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000eca, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (240 ms), retain 57> > | +-o USB2.0 Hub@01100000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000e91, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (58 ms), retain 35> > | +-o USB2.1 Hub@01120000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000eb9, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (16 ms), retain 32> > | +-o Generic Billboard Device@01150000 <class IOUSBHostDevice, id 0x100000f02, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (22 ms), retain 21> |
