DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 1.4 does not appear to work on Ubuntu 17.10.
I installed the driver successfully. But my external monitor does not turn on after being plugged in: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013XFJKGI Some more information: Code:

Thanks for contacting us with your problem. 1. Have you added a workaround for recent X problems as described in http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...ent-x-upgrades [Workaround 2]? Please remember to reboot your computer after adding a conf file. Did it resolve your problem? If not... 2.
