Default Constant flickering after windows 7 automatic update

Dell latitude, windows 7. I have 3 displaylink usb adapters to support dual monitors at home and two offices.
After recent automatic update (beginning of January) of windows 7, all the adapters stopped working, flickering constantly (on machines without automatic update it works well). There seems to be some conflict between the newly released microsoft update and the displaylink driver. It may also be related to some windows 10 problems mentioned in other threads. I've tried both M4 and M3 versions of the driver, neither worked out. Displaylink got to get this issue resolved to keep customers.

Hello,

Could you please tell us which updates you have rolled out?
DisplayLink did NOT release anything for Windows 7 for a very long time.

Could you please also gather log files on the affected machines so we can investigate?
Here is how to reporting a blocking problem to DisplayLink:
How can I report Windows installation issues to DisplayLink?

Regards,
Alban

The updates are automatic. I don't know which specific windows 7 updates were loaded. OK, I will try to install the support tool to see what information it can collect..

If you go to the list of installed updates, it will tell you which ones were installed with the dates.

Seeing which Windows updates are installed
Follow these steps to see which Windows updates are installed on your computer.

Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

In the left pane, click View update history.

For the flickering, would you please be able to try Windows 10 - Constantly Switching Screens
