Default D6000 5K not working

Hi,

I am currently trying to get the D6000 dock to output 5K@60hz to my AG493UC AGON monitor.

The dock can output Ultra HD 5k, which is 5120x2880, my monitor supports 5120x1440, therefore dock should be able to output the correct resolution, can this be confirmed? Can DisplayLink support that resolution, I assume so as DisplayLink supports 5120x2880, which is larger than 5120x1440.

According to the manual, I need to install the DisplayLink drivers (now called DisplayLink manager on OSX), and connect DP1 on the dock to DP1 on the monitor, and DP2 on the dock to DP2 on the monitor, I have done this with 2 8k DP cables, however my Mac (and my Windows 10 machine) see's the monitor as two different monitors, and limits the display to 3840x1080.

I am using DisplayLink Manager 1.1.0 (build 54.91), and am running OSX Catalina 10.15.6.

I've tried a few different configurations now, and can't seem to get it working.

MacBook Pro 2017 via USB C directly into the monitor only gives me 3840x1080, that is the same with my ThinkPad X1 Extreme.

I also tried a USB C to Dual DisplayPort adapter (ALOGIC USB Type-C to Dual DisplayPort Adapter) this did not work either.

After spending some time on discord, and reddit I've found a halfway solution that works. I currently have my laptop plugged into the D6000 dock, with DP1 and DP2 both going to DP1 and DP2 on the monitor, and I have PBP enabled, with DP1 on the left and DP2 on the right, with 2560x1440 resolution set to both, this gives me full resolution, over two emulated monitors.

However the right monitor has a blue tint to it, apparently this can be somewhat fixed with AOC's G-Menu program, however I was unable to get this program working: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/co...ile_using_pbp/

I also found this reddit thread where /u/supermanwah15 achieved the full resolution on his MacBook using a USB-C to DP1.4 adapter, I have bought one of these adapters, and will update the thread when it arrives, I have a few devices I will test with as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidema...wo_inputs_one/
