Default Logic X Display Bug

Hello,

Everything works great using my USB 2.0-VGA adaptor, I just have one problem.

Logic X, some of the icons on the top bar of the arrange page appear squashed and overlap. Does anyone else experience this problem and is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for your help guys!

Default More problems

Also in Logic X, in the piano roll/midi editor view the mouse cursor is out of place from where I am clicking and it's impossible to work in. Has anyone else experienced problems like this before?

Thanks!

Default Logic X problem

Just wondering if you ever got this problem solved. I'm still running Mountain Lion on my MacBook because I need 2 external monitors for my Logic X installation. Would really love to upgrade to Yosemite but can't function without the monitors.
