Question HP3005PR on Windows 7

Hello lads and lasses,

I'm trying to setup an hp3005pr on my laptop. The laptop is running Windows 7. I've tried a lot of things but I can't seem to get it to work. The USB hub works fine, but I can't get anything on the HDMI screen I have connected to the dock. It seems like the GigEthernet doesn't work either.

I've tried:
  • Installing the driver from the internal memory of the dock itsself
  • Installing the latest driver from HP
  • Installing your latest driver
  • Tried an older driver
  • Tried with all ports on my laptop (all three of them have USB3.0)
  • Cleaning using your cleaning tool, rebooting, reïnstalling, rebooting
  • Tried another laptop with Windows 10 creators update... no luck either.

The dock shows up in device manager in Portable Devices but not in display adapters. As a result DisplayLink manager shows a disconnected icon.

I ran Windows updates and my system is up-to-date. The intel HD graphics and USB 3.0 host controller drivers are also up-to-date.

Attached you'll find the support logs for each of the ports I tested.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Kind regards,
ScHAmPi.
