Default Aleron Wireless Not Staying Connected Windows 10

I work remote desktop support and am helping a user with a new computer. I have installed the DisplayLink software and had them plug in the DisplayLink dongle and it connects and disconnects in a loop. I had the user plug it in on their old computer and it works there fine so I know the dongle is good. I have ran the DisplayLink Support Tool and have the results and will attach them to this post. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Thank you for the details and the logs.

Unfortunately, there is no DisplayLink chip recognised on the bus.
This is a wireless product, I suggest you contact Aleron to check Windows 10 compatibility and availability of the wireless driver as this is not included in DisplayLink package (this is not our technology). I don't believe this product will work on Windows 10 Creators Update.

Kind regards,
Alban

Thank you for the reply. I did not have the user plug in the dongle when I ran the report the first time. I had them plug it in and I ran the report again. I was not sure if that would be why you did not see the chip on the bus. Here is the report with the dongle plugged in. Please let me know if I still need to contact someone else on this issue.

Hello,

This is normal not to see the device on the USB if it is not connected to it.

In the new logs, the device is still not visible by Windows. This suggests the wireless link is not established properly.
Have you received feedback from the manufacturer about the wireless driver?

Kind regards,
Alban
