https://verily.com causes laptop to run very low
Visiting https://verily.com using Chrome 53.0.2785.116 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Intel® Core™ i7-4600U CPU using Intel® Haswell Mobile graphics gives insane input delay to any input field. The DisplayLinkManager process also consumes huges amounts of CPU. The effect can persist even after closing the tab for some time.

It's not even that website that is causing the input delay and mangling issues. I don't have it open, and I'm experiencing them. It's impossible to type.
Any solutions? This started happening with the latest update. |

What is your setup like? Are you perhaps using extra screens with laptop lid closed? If yes, does leaving it opened help?

I've found my problem - the wireless keyboard batteries were dying. While that website does cause the process to use a ton of CPU, it does not cause the input delay like I thought.
I'm using the laptop in a dock with an extra monitor attached, and the laptop is open. |
