Using a new MacBook Air, running MacOC 13.6, I've connected to two external HDMI monitors (Dell E2720Hs) using a WAVLink Displaylink Docking Station - DisplayLink seems to quit when the computer goes to sleep.
When I wake the computer, the Dell monitors remain in "Power Saver" mode and will not wake or connect to the . Sleep, power saving and screen saver settings have all been turned off on the Mac...but the only resolve (to date) is to Uninstall DisplayLink then re-install to get the system back on two displays. It doesn't seem to matter how I set DisplayLink settings or even if I load the startup executable. Any guidance would be appreciated. ![]() |

Are you using clamshell mode, i.e MacBook powered and external keyboard and mouse connected..?
Does the wavelink supply power to the Mac via its host connection..? I use an M2 15" Air daily using DisplayLink dock and have no issues Last edited by Bah434x; 10-04-2023 at 03:30 PM. |

Also, I had a new symptom. When the clamshell is open (now i technically have 3 screens). I walked into another room and came back, and the 2 monitors shut off. Displaylink shut down (it wasn't in the top right corner where my other active apps are). It even shuts off when i am typing. Displaylink shuts down and i have to turn it back on Last edited by Furby076; 11-18-2023 at 06:08 AM. |
