Question Unable to display 1024x600 via "USB-VGA Displaylink adaptor"

Hello all,

I really need your help.

Please read through the whole post. I have two different external monitors which have the best resolution at 1024x600. I had problem with my second monitor.

The first external monitor, manufactured by "Display Solution", works very well. It has built-in Displaylink hardware and it can display 1024x600 through USB.

The second external monitor support 1024x600 but with no built-in Displaylink hardware. When I connect it to my Macbook Air 2013 via "VGA-thunderbolt adaptor", it can display 1024x600.
HOWEVER, when I connect it through a "USB-VGA Displaylink adaptor", it CANNOT display in 1024x600 (the closest one is 1024x768).

May anyone suggest a solutions which can allow the second monitor display 1024x600 via Displaylink powered USB adaptor?

Thank you for any replies.

Best regards,
Gary
