Default A great new update, is Screen Rotation next?

good to see the universal binary rolled out, but I was hopeful when I got the notification that screen rotation might be included. I will install the update later today.

Do you have an ETA on when it will be possible to rotate a DisplayLink connected monitor?

Thanks

Latest update to 1.3 seems to be working really well.

I still have a few hiccups.
My setup consists of 2 Asus 169B+'s connected to an M1 macbook air, (1 screen connection is through a USB-C (3.1) hub, other connection is direct into the USB 4 port) and sometimes only 1 screen is detected. I have to close the laptop lid and open it again for both screens to be detected. Once it's working however, it works just fine for the rest of the day.

It would be great to have screen rotation in the future. Apparently the hardware is capable of auto detecting when the screen is physically rotated.

Here's an example of it in action:

Also, sometimes I lose the persistence or the arrangement of both screen and I have to change them back in the display settings.

Besides those points, I'm very happy with the latest update.

If there was a paid bug bounty program for DisplayLink, I would put money up to see screen rotation working. Life without my secondary vertical display is difficult.

Dear users,

Thank you for your feedback concerning our new DisplayLink Manager release.

As far as rotation support is concerned, we are working on this issue with Apple but unfortunately we do not have a set ETA for it so I cannot provide you with any more specific information.

If you wish to inform us about any recent issues or possible changes, we would be more than happy to hear it.
To do it, please contact us on our email address: technical-enquiries@synaptics.com as it is always the fastest way to reach us.

Thank you for your patience and will to help us improve our software.

Kind regards,
Jakub

Hey guys do we have an ETA for rotation on M1 macs? Even a beta would do. I'm strongly considering selling my secondary monitor and adaptor since dual landscape isn't that useful for my specific use case

Thank you for your support.

Is there any update on solving the rotation problem! I have 2 DisplayLink adapters and they work fine, but I REAAAAAALLY need rotation working on my M1 Mac Mini for my workload (which is particularly heavy this time of year!). Thanks for a great solution for multiple displays!

1.3.1 out still no rotation. Would it be possible to at least get an ETA on this, or a confirmation that it isn't planned to go out soon?

Thank you guys

I was disappointed as well to see still no rotation support.
Option is there but the screen just locks if you try.
