Default Connecton problem with Philips Brilliance 231p on Windows 10

Hi,

After 15-20 successfull connentions the monitor shows only a black screen. If you wait 3-5 minutes the connection will re-establish. I could reproduce the probelm several times.

tested devices:
Lenovo: X1Carbon, X1Yoga, X260 and T550/T560

On the machine the lateste display link driver 8.0M3 is installed, grapic card and all other drivers are up to date as well.

Windows 10 Version: > 10.0.14393

I have also attached the log files.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Discordia,

Thank you for the details and logs, it's helpful.

I can see the device was interrupted a few times during the flashing before it was completed successfully at the end of your logs.
The device drops from the USB, which meant it stopped responding to the driver. It goes down, then it tries again after resetting the connection.

If the issue persists now it's flashed successfully, may I suggest you try with another USB cable? It may be a power supply issue too as the monitor disappears suddenly before the error occurs.

Kind regards,
Alban
