M01065 Dock and Windows 8

Just to be sure on this... I have the Kensington dock M01065. In another thread I saw where it was not compatible with Windows 8. Is there ANY Plan to make it compatible? Otherwise, I just have a worthless brick here. Thanks.

This hardware will not be supported on Windows 8, as the auto install software stored in the dock is not compatible with the OS.
