Default Not working with OSX 10.8.4

We have 3 macs that have DisplayLinks connected to them. All three have lost the signals to projectors/monitors. They do not show up in the "Systems Preferences" like before and "detect displays" does nothing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling on all macs but can not get a signal. Both the Software (The latest available on this site) and hardware shows up in the "Systems information." The only thing I can think thats changed is when we upgraded from 10.8.3 to 10.8.4.

Please advise

I have the same problem on my mac. But on another mac (where display driver software hadn't previously been installed) it worked fine after the installation..

I have tried to reinstall. Nothing seems to help..

Made a thread about it, but no one seems to be able help.

Default What gives?

It's really odd... but, what's more odd is the lack of help from "Tech Support."

Default Information link

Attached is the Information zip from one of our computers. Hope it helps. Displaylink stopped working with all 4 of our setups.

I'm running 10.8.4 on my 13" MBP and running just fine with my Toshiba Dynadock U3.

I've attached the debug application output. Maybe their's a difference in what your Mac has and what mine has.

Just installed it on another mac that never had it before (same setup) and it worked fine. Just not working on the computers that they been running on for the past couple years.

NO THANKS TO ANYONE WITH TECH but I figured out it's a permissions issue.

Run the repair Permissions in the disk utility and it should straiten it out for everyone. Still have not figured out why 10.8.4 changes the permissions on some computers in the first place. I guess getting ready for Mavericks.

Sorry for the late answer. Many thanks for reporting the solution. Unfortunately sometime updating the OS results in permissions messed up in some system folders.
