ACP70EU - Windows not detecting monitors after 8.1 upgrade

I have been using the ACP70EU happily for 4 months on my Dell 6430u on Windows 8 with two external Dell monitors.

Since upgrading to W8.1 the monitors cannot be detected through the ACP70EU (although Windows can detect them if they are connected to the computer's HDMI or VGA ports).

I have rebooted the dock and the monitors, I've updated the BIOS and the display adapter drivers, but the same problem persists.

Any advice gratefully received.
