Default Support for Windows Server 2012 ??

Are there any updates on support for Windows Server 2012 ?

I am using Windows Server 2012 (Windows 8 kernel), build 9200, with the 7.1M0 driver. The usermode agent gives me a pop up indicating that the operating system is not supported.

It would be nice to amend this check to allow server 2012.

In post at http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1892 on 08-17-2012, mlukaszek (Displaylink staff) mentions that they would look into allowing installation on Windows Server 2012 and I am wondering if there is an update please.

Thanks

Default WorkAround

I found a work around for this.
I read the post at http://www.displaylink.org/forum/sho...ghlight=Server in which it mentions :

"My guess is that the primary graphics card or driver you have installed is not a WDDM compatible driver (Windows 7 driver). This is needed by DisplayLink software to operate correctly on Windows Vista and Windows 7 (and their server equivalents)"

After reading this I tried installing the correct Dell Driver for the on board graphics system for the server I am using and then after rebooting it all began working. My guess is that the new/correct driver provided the WDDM interfaces needed by DisplayLink.

In any case it is working now.
