No DisplayLink-enabled Display on MacBook Pro (Monterey)
I have a MacBook Pro i9 running Monterey with a Dell WD19 docking station connected with USB-C cable.
I have two Dell U2312HM monitors connected to the docking station via display port. The Mac Displays system preference page can see at least one of the external Dell monitors and I can set them to 'Use as: Extended display'. The DisplayLink Manager software 1.6.1 installed with all notifications enabled. It is running as I see the little DisplayLink icon in the external monitors. But the DisplayLink Manager screen app shows 'No DisplayLink-enabled display detected'. Both external monitors are showing the same thing. Would be nice to extend the multiple external monitors to show two extended monitors, not mirror each other..... |

Hello,
Dell WD19 does not use DisplayLink technology. It will not communicate with our drivers. Unfortunately we won't be able to provide support for this product. Please contact Dell directly for further support.

Rather, the dock has a DisplayPort MST hub inside of it that drives the external displays. Mac's do not support DisplayPort MST, which is why both displays are showing the same 'mirror' image. |
