Default external screen resolution

on my surface pro 8.1 with external screen resolutions higher than 1440x900 does not work properly even when the external screen supports higher resolution (in my case it's an asus that supports up to 1920x1080)

Hi,

Can you check if the modes > 1440x900 are offered in the DisplayLink UI and in Windows Screen Resolution options?

Assuming they are present what happens when you select these modes?

Thanks,
James

Hi,

yes, it appears on both (windows and displaylink sw) and I'm changing it on the displaylink sw (pluggable ud 3000)

if the screen resolution of the external display is higher, the display does not show anything and after a while I get the msg: hdmi no signal

I'm using the HDMI cable and the HDMI connector on the docking station

thanks
