No displaylink-enabled display detected

Im trying to connect two external displays do mac air M2 2022. The dock station i have is MX2 Lite HDMI Edition. Ive looked through other threads and after trying to get it to appear in the system report nothing happens. Is the reason that the dock is simply not compatable? because the salesperson took me straight to this dock when i told him what i needed
