Default DisplayLinkManager using one core fully on Windows 8

I'm running DisplayLink software version 7.1.44152.0 on Windows 8.

I find that the DisplayLinkManager application consumes in excess of 25% of the cpu continuously. This is a four core system -- so it looks like a mostly hard cpu loop.

I am running VMWare player which is hosting a ubuntu VM and this is full screen on the displaylink driven display.

From reading other threads, it appears that the displaylinkmanager is not supposed to consume this much CPU.

The actual adapter is a Targus ACP70USZ
