Question No monitors detected

Earlier today I tried to install a DisplayLink dock with thunderbolt 3.
Even after installing the drivers, the laptop takes minutes to start.
And doesn't show any additional monitor(s) - nothing is detected.

Laptop: Elitebook 860 G9 with Windows 11 Enterprise
Hardware: i7-1260P with 32 GB memory and 1 TB SSD
Monitors: FHD+ (i.e. 1920 x 1200)

Tried connecting monitors with DP and HDMI.
Note that USB is working as expected.

Also tried a simple, non-thunderbolt dock - USB-C with power delivery.
Which works as expected - including the connected HDMI monitor.

Suggestions how to get this combo work?

Please provide the brand and specific model number of (or a direct web link to) the docking station you are using. That will allow us to review the unit's specifications.
