Exclamation Finding a eGPU dock or Thunderbolt 3 dock to run 3x Monitors MacBook Air 18'

I am running a 2018 MacBook Air on Mojave 10.14.5 with a OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock.
I'm currently running 2x 1080p monitors (1x via mini DisplayPort and the other with a Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI adapter).

When adding an additional Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI adapter I found that MacOS does not recognize the third 1080p monitor.

I wanted to purchase the Dell Triple Display Docking Station because I've seen it work with great success on a Dell XPS13 and it had great reviews on Amazon.

I read that this no longer works with Macs due to the Mojave update and that I need to check the forums here to see the progress of DisplayLink driver firmware progress.

Does anyone have success using the dock listed above with a MacBook Air?
I know that MacBook Pros need to use separate Thunderbolt 3 ports on each side due to the bussing of video traffic.

Is my only option at this point to run an external eGPU with a decent GPU?
Has anyone had success with the Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 (with included 1050)?

Thanks in advance!
