Unhappy Win7 64 on a Macbook Pro w/dual displays

I'm running Win7 Enterprise 64-bit on a 13" macbook pro (using Boot Camp) with dual Samsung SynchMaster B2230's. For the most part everything works great, however...

When I use Power Point, and switch to Slide Show mode or Presenter mode, the screen showing the full screen view goes black. My mouse pointer still shows and I can advance the slides and bring up a right-click menu, but the presentation itself does not show.

I'm not sure if this is a Mac/Windows thing or a DisplayLink driver problem or other. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dual monitors with the 13" Macbook Pro with OS X in a docking station is not worth it, as 1 of the monitors has to mirror the 13" screen resolution. Hence Windows

It should work, but whenever someone says "I have problems with PowerPoint", I think "are you running a basic theme?". Do you get the same problem in Aero mode?
