Default DisplayLink 1.4 —*Sluggish / Frozen Screen

Recently purchased an Alogic DX3 dock, which is currently running 2x external displays

Specs / Setup

- 2019 Macbook Pro 16" with 8-core CPU + 64GB of memory
- Running MacOS 11.5.1
- Installed DisplayLink v1.4 drivers

- 1x Landscape display @ 2560x1080
- 1x Vertical (90deg rotated) display @ 1080x2560
- Both displays connected via Displayport from the DX3 Dock

I've noticed the following issues...

- The display gets "framey" / "sluggish" after an extended period of time —*restarting MacOS resolves the issue, until it starts getting sluggish again
- The vertical (rotated) display sometimes freezes — again, after an extended period of time
-- This is particularly repeatable if i have a video running on this display over a period of time (ie: 30 to 60 minutes)

Also have seen the monitor layout get reset between reboots, although this problem appears to be intermittent

Are these known issues with the driver? Are there any workarounds or fixes for any of the above issues?

The framey / sluggish behavior is quite jarring and makes the dock borderline un-usable as a display dock interface. With that being said, i am hoping this is a case of driver fixes that would be able to resolve this?
