Default Unable to install driver >7.9 M7 on Windows 7

Helo,

I have the same problem with drivers higher than 7.9 M7. I can install only this package on my Win 7 Enterprise 64 Bit system.

Driver package 8.0 M1 to M3 allways showing the error message:

Das Softwarepaket wurde anscheinend verändert. Die Installation wurde abgebrochen. Bitte setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem Vertriebshändler in Verbindung, um weitere Unterstützung zu erhalten.
(English: The software package might have been changed. The installation was aborted. Please contact your local dealer to get further support).

I have installed the latest Intel 8 USB3 drivers. This should not be the problem.

Any ideas, how I can update my DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows?

Thanks

Georg

Hello Georg,

Your Windows 7 installation is most likely outdated and is missing the security update necessary to verify the SHA-256 digital signature hash.

If the issue persists with that security update installed, then this would be because the file is modified during or after download.

Kind regards,
Alban
